Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Director of Operations Broward Campuses, Davie, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:
Directs operations on the Broward Campuses including but not limited to oversight of classroom scheduling, facilitating FAU and outside group special events, and coordinating the efforts of several departments that support activities and events on the campus.
Interprets and implements University policy related to instructional and research space, student meetings and events, enrollment management events i.e. new student orientation and recruitment events, facilities use by FAU's partners including Broward College, and facilities use by organizations with no affiliation with the University.
Maintains and oversees instructional space and furniture inventory in coordination with the Physical Plant and other FAU departments.
Consults with and assists academic departments on issues related to course scheduling and instructional needs and may identify and recommend room-use opportunities.
Oversees on-campus events including those hosted by non-FAU entities and provides related support and direction to the relevant staff.
Coordinates on a day-to-day basis, operations involving all campus-wide departments including Office of Information Technology (OIT), Public Safety, Parking, Physical Plant, Space Planning, Design and Construction, and Facilities.
The Director is a member of the University Emergency Operations Team and partner campus coordination center this includes oversight of the annual review and submission of the Unit Emergency Response Plans and Continuity of Operation Plans.
Administers cost recovery or rental fees charged, and collects and disburses the funds.
Provides support services such as keys, building access and emergency notifications to FAU partners with long term space agreements.
Convenes periodic meetings with the partners occupying space on FAU's Broward Campuses to keep the partners up to date and hear any concerns they may have.
Works with the Associate Vice President for the Broward Campuses, the Director gives input to Campus improvement plans and develops operational policies and practices.
Compiles and analyzes data to inform the Associate Vice President for the Broward Campuses in the areas of enrollment, scheduling, course offerings and space utilization.
Using Banner, 25 Live, CourseLeaf, Crystal Reports, and Event Management software systems, the Director prepares standard and customized reports to track program change and facilities use trends, suggest procedural changes, and provides input to long term plans.
Oversees special projects as assigned by the Associate Vice-President for Academic Affairs Broward Campuses.
Represents the Associate Vice President and/or the Campus on University and community-wide committees and organizations including the South Florida Education Center (SFEC), and serves as delegate to the Associate Vice President for the Facilities, Safety, Policy, and Enrollment Management Committees.
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of related experience in university or college enrollment management; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years related experience in university or college enrollment management required.Master’s degree is preferred.Prior experience collecting, analyzing and reporting data to support decision making processes; space utilization and facilities coordination; and special event coordination preferred. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to network and to build positive team dynamic.Knowledge and experience working with one or more of these systems: Banner, Courseleaf scheduling software, R25, Canvas LMS system, Workday preferred.
