Florida Atlantic University is seeking an IBRAIN Assistant, Jupiter, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for carrying out experiments according to lab protocols, collecting and saving experimental results, keeping official lab notes of all experimental procedures and outcomes.
Perform routine support for lab work.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution in biology or related fields required. The basic skills required include solution preparation, autoclave, sterilization techniques, electrophoresis, bacterial culture and nucleotide purification. Experience in PCR, DNA subcloning, mutagenesis, eukaryotic cell culture, protein purification and immunocytochemistry preferred. Must be organized and diligent in writing lab notes. Must be a team player and skillful in communication with others. Basic software skills are required, such as Microsoft office applications.
$12 - $15 per hour depending on experience.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
